My manual says to fill the primary with 38oz of fluid. Are you guys putting that much in or is 32 enough? I want to use Formula + in it but don't want to buy another quart just to get 6 more ounces.
Luckily the gas tank isn't 6.2 gallons..... I have heard both ways i do the 38 and a harley mechanic will do the 32. If this is your last change you will ever do then go with 32...if you are goning to change it again then you will be able to use the "Extra Quart" Think of it as buy 1 for next time.

I don't have the book in front of me but I thought it said a number like 48 is if it is dry??? I filled it up to the mark and 32 looked a touch low BUT 38 looked the same just a smidge higher???? So IDK for sure I just went to what I read the book saying. A family member works at H-D and he puts in 32 on his???
