Three weeks ago I was rear ended by a car while sitting in traffic waiting for a pickup to make a left hand turn. I'm fine but the bike is waiting for parts in order to repair it.
I'm looking at installing Custom Dynamics strobe module that will allow the tour pack brake lights to flash. Does anyone have any experience with this module? http://www.easternperformance.com/cu...pak-14-15.html
I have had the strobe module installed for several months now and am very impressed. I have custom rear lights (Yaffe) and had numerous friends tell me that they were harder to see than the stock ones. Since installing the strobe (had to replace the light at the tip of the fender to LED also) I have had several fellow riders tell me I really stand out when braking now. It has 10 settings (I think) and I have it set on continual strobe while on the brake. Checked with a relative who is a police officer (here in Texas) and he assured me that it is legal. Highly recommend.

Thanks, it will be a few more weeks before I get my bike back, but I'm going to place the order now.
I have one on my 2015 TriGlide, and have noticed vehicles stop farther away from my rear than they used to. It has 10 different settings that are easy to change with a small screwdriver.
It is definitely an attention getter, and if you really want to get noticed I suggest you get the LED tail lights from Custom Dynamics. Those things hurt your eyes if you look at them.
I was debating between the CD Magic Strobe and a BrightAssLight tail light. For my own reasons, I with the the BAL and 1 of it's many strobe settings. Not trying to hijack your thread, but there's a (cell phone) video of my set up here ----->
I have it on my 2014 SGS with Baddad tails and also made a 3rd brake light that sits at the end of the seat, were it is bolted to the fender in the back. Really helps and when set at strobe, the 3rd light strobe crazy and really noticeable. Loving mine. Good way for people to see me, especially here in Houston.
