So I was riding my 2015 Ultra Limited in bumper to bumper traffic in summer heat and my engine light came on. I checked the code with my Power Vision setup and it shows P1692 Cooling Fan Left Shorted High. Anybody have experience with this code. Fan ran after I parked bike. I am thinking cooling fan itself. Any guidance much appreciated. Hate to take it to dealer.

I have found that the fans may run individually at times.Controlled by the ECM.I shut off My bike one night and only the left fan ran.Tried to push the right fan to see if it would start.It did not.Turned on the ignition and turned throttle to max and both fans worked.Since, both fans have worked each time that I checked.I would wait to see if code reappaears.
