Busy times after work. Removed the exhaust to get a fresh start on everything.
Put her on my wobbly HF lift ( I'll be getting a J & S soon ), cleaned the undercarriage to showroom new, very fine steel wool on my Fuel Moto Jackpot's and heat shields and buttoned everything up with new gaskets.
Removed the tour pak, spent at least 2 evenings trying to track down a problem on my rt saddlebag LED run/brake/turn. Without actually doing anything it decided to start working again, but I'm still getting DTC codes pertaining to the rt rear light.
Cleaned up everything under the seat, power polished the rear fender in anticipation of the new license plate bracket and downward facing window light for the plate that hasn't arrived yet. Got the plate temporary secured to the back of my backrest.
After doing an oil/filter change and getting the bike ready for riding I did the Power Vision flash, (drum roll)
Runs like a raped ape, I love the new found power.
I'm still crossing my fingers hoping the original problem I had was with the PCV.
if it does come back may want to check or replace the engine temp sensor. mine went bad and it didn't throw a code. the sensor may be telling the ecm the engine temps are too high.
