While recalls are a bit of a nuisance, you have to really commend HD for getting on top of it after only 19 incidents. In the auto industry, you could have 100 people die & they would still prolong a recall. So good on HD for getting on this straight away.
True. I think they HAVE to though. An incident in a car is very different from an incident on a bike.
They are likely feeling the pains of so much contract (foreign) manufacturing variability.
I've already checked the vin and I'm clear on all recalls. My birthday is in April and I was just curious as to the day my bike was built. That would be a helluva birthday present.
