Hi bitmonx,
yep mods done was relatively easy when removing best be careful as you need a fair bit of weight down on ratchet to stop it flying off..best wrap a towel or something soft around bars so you don’t slip and damage them

How did you cut the spacer? With a tube cutter or by hand?
How is the ride?

If you are on the fence about this mod, don't be. It transforms the bike. Do it.

Cut it with tube cutter mate and now the ride is awesome far better than standard

Cool, can't wait doing the mod. It is the one that is top of the list with second one changing the final drive to 30T / 70T.
Frigging Winter here in Switzerland. Roads are snowy/wet/slushy and when dry contaminated with salt......
I am unable to do much work at home since I got no private garage, just an underground garage shared by dozens of other people and no electrical outlets.....

Enjoy the ride!!

On the new FXBR breakout, what's the general conception of the stock Michelin Scortcher tires?

Breakout items fo sale

I have a passenger backrest with luggage rack and a right side saddle bag that I no longer need. Both are like new. They are detachable and I rarely had them on the bike. I did inquire at one time about the availability of a single left side bag. Local Harley dealer quoted me a price but I don’t recall the amount. I have all the hardware. These are specifically fitted for the breakout.

Breakout specific only?
:(

According to the Harley Davidson online store. I do wonder if the detachable backrest will fit some of the bikes Harley has come out with in the last couple years that also have the 240 rear tire

Whats up? I see this post is from 2015. How did this work out for you over time? Where the intimidators what you expected? I live and ride just outside of NYC and sometimes in NYC, the roads are a challenge. I had brothers come here from other states to visit and could not believe just how bad things are, they wonder how we can even ride here. It's not even the big potholes we can avoid most of them. But a never ending series of expansion joints, cracks and bad repairs that can beat the hell out of you. I am going to try these before I decide to go with legend drop in's. On top of this i want to diminish the nose dive going into a turn. Thanks
