I can't decide if I like it or not. I think it might be fine when actually on a trip but a little too big for the bike on a day to day basis. Perhaps a smaller version would look better. What do y'all think?

Agree with your assessment, looks too big and is ugly but when on the road 2 up should hold a lot of stuff.

Thanks guys!

Some like it, some don't. That's fine. Just wanted to be sure it wasn't universally disliked. Lol!
I might still get something smaller for daily use but I really like having a place for my helmet when I stop.
I carry lots of stuff and like having room for all of it inside a case of some type.

Dartconv64 as stated, this rack doesn't allow the pack to be moved up.

LXT how about a pic of yours?

Not the best pictures, its a balmy 16 degrees here & my garage is cramped, 2 bikes & a muscle car - not that I'm complaining but working on anything is tough - need a bigger garage.

funny when I added on to the house it was all about the Kitchen & living space - should of been about the garage....!

Case looks good on your bike!

More garage! Went to friend's for dinner Sat. He has a 2 car attached garage and just added another 2 car detached garage. So jealous.

Ill see how good it looks when I put the chrome studs on - hopefully I don't mess it up? the thing about putting stuff like that on is measure 100 times, be patient, use tape - walk away & come back later to make sure everything still looks straight & then have at it..... LOL

Ill see how good I take my own advice. Ill post some pics when done - unless I mess it up

Default Nice....

I like the look. I as well am buying the Viking trunk & saving over $350 compared to the smaller HD version. Surdyke sells the tour pack rack and disconnect hardware and you will save over $50 compared to Harley Online store for the same parts. I also bought the rack for a solo rider and will serve as a back rest.

I like the bike without the pack for a sleek look(mine is set-up as a solo, no passenger pillion), but it looks nice when on & is great/must have for traveling packing & camping.

I think if you put the HD Tour Pak next to the Viking Trunk they are pretty much the same size.

I was going with the Viking Trunk until I ran across my HD Tour Pak with mount at a yard sale.
Mine stays on the bike all the time except during a wash.

As for the look; well as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
