I bought a 2018 last august and put 2200 miles in 5 weeks, forgot a owned a 1999 fxd. I have taken the bags off and put on a saddlemen step up. When I need to take anything with me I put a tour pack on, takes 20 seconds. did I mention I ride it for work as an outside industrial instrumentation and controls salesman? I ride it into a chemical plant or peaking station and talk to a maintenance guy he may not remember my name, I'm FWF(fat, white, fifty) but he'll remember the motorcycle guy! It is the best handling motorcycle I have owned since I rode a ZX1100, and that wasn't that much better. But I have slowed down a bit too! Good luck with your's. I had an issue with my speedometer bezel clouding up and my rear wheel bearing going out but other than that it has been smooth sailing.

I have an '18. Some vibration but nothing unpleasant or enough to be a concern.

I just had my speedo replaced due to condensation. Mine was doing it even on cloudy days when it wasn't hot. I also asked about the combo speedo like I had on the FB but no, not available and probably won't be.

When I was shopping for a bike I rode a used 2018 flhcs (114) that had alot of vibration, it almost caused me to not buy one, i took another for a test ride and it didn't have the vibration, I bought a heritage 114 and my bike doesn't have the vibration.

I suggest you go test ride another heritage like yours to compare and if it isn't doing the same thing take yours in to the service department.

I noticed a vibration sound like a buzzing bee at 2690-2700 RPM. I touched the gas cap to see if it was that rattling but I can't locate it.

I have the exact same issues as you. My FLHCS is my 5th Harley so I am familiar with the bikes. I had it checked out at my first service and they could find nothing out of order. I love everything else about the bike but that vibration. I have just a bit over 3000 miles on her, I hope it smooths out with time and miles.

I have a 2019 Softail Heritage Classic 114 and already did the Stage 1 upgrade. I have scheduled to do the Stage 2 torque cam and I cannot find much posted about any potential downsides? Forget about the cost, as I'm not looking for opinions about the cost/benefit. I'd like to know if it affects how the bike acts at slow speed maneuvers, any changes in overall rideability, long-term effect on the motor or anything else Harley won't tell you why you would NOT want to change the cam. Most of my buddies are saying "don't do it", "you don't need it" or "don't change the internals after the factory", but I can't find anything online where anyone has had problems later specifically because of doing a Stage 2 torque cam. I have a friend with a 2012 Ultra Limited Stage 3 twin cam with over 60K miles and he's had no problems, so that's encouraging. I can afford it and if I'm going to it NOW while it can piggyback on the Harley warranty or never do it at all on this bike.

Any feedback from someone with direct experience is appreciated.

Bob

I can't think of a single downside. I put the torque cam in at about 1,000 miles IIRC, the bike is close to 20,000 miles now. Best upgrade ever. 25% more horsepower, 25% more torque, about a 15% reduction in roll-on time, and the MPG stayed the same.
