am looking to change out the stock tiny sound horn to a touring horn
my m8 tourer sounds like a locomotive horn whenever I hit the little button, almost addictive any tips on how? |

Reason I went with them over the other styles is. Just wanted something close to the rider floor boards looks wise. And you don’t have to buy the floor pan and pad separate.
Ps give passenger more leg room. But when folded up they stick out almost even with the bags. Something that will take time to grow on me looks wise. |

21” windshield
The stock 18” windshield was a bit low for me at 6’ 2” so I installed the 21” nostalgic from H-D. It didn’t look right so I painted the back side black.

Not exactly the answer to your question, but I put a Sportster loud horn on my bike. Mounted it in the same location as the pancake horn. I had to bend the little mounting plate out a bit and the wires were just barely long enough but it fits. It's way louder and more attention getting than that ridiculous roadrunner horn.
The large horn was something I'd be worry dinging my fender Just bought a sportster loud horn set Gonna install soon |
Any one have had or have a noise on their bike when coming to a stop. I am having a hard time pinpointing it. It happens in all different operations...braking...just clutch disengaged...or just rolling in neutral to a stop ...I was thinking clutch at one point then brake ..then maybe wrap disc. Dealer is informed and looking at it on my 1000 mile check up.
