Anyone here went from a Low Rider S to the Heritage? My FXLRS is great, but if I stay within the cruiser/hd world I want something that's more comfortable over longer rides. And putting quite a bit of money into the FXLRS to make it how I want, will be the same cost for me as changing to a Heritage. Like the look/style of it. But it's always nice to hear experience from someone who went to the Heritage coming from a different Harley.
I don't really fit into your category, but I did have a sportster for many years to go with my Heritages and Fatboys. I test rode everything and the M8 Heritage was and is far above any other softail in terms of comfort. By the way, I really wanted a Low Rider S once until I test rode it. One of the most uncomfortable bikes I've ever ridden.
I loved going from the raw thrill of the sportster to the power and comfort of my 2020 Heritage.
Heritage is built for comfort…at least as far as Softails go. If you look at suspension travel, tire sizes, rake/trail and lean angles you can get an idea of design goals. Low Rider S and Fat Bob are designed for more performance and spirited riding.
Just picked up a 2021 Heritage 114 Saturday. My 2020 Road Glide Limited was lonely in the garage and it needs a rest after 30k in the first 14 months! I have looked at exhaust options and really prefer the longer exhaust as stock on Standard and Slim, or even the slightly staggered on Street Bob or Low rider. They don't look to be any higher than Heritage exhaust for bag clearance issues. Has anyone installed one of these on the Heritage? I searched but didn't find this discussed. Thanks!!

Fit the V&H FP3 tuner and then you can choose whatever slip-ons you like (or full system for that matter) - I like the full length look too and went for classic-looking tulip slip ons. Look great, sounds great and with the FP3 on auto-tune, run great

Debated a 2-1 since I will be doing a cam this winter. My wife will have to work the street a bit harder to pay for that D&D Fat Cat! It does look nice. Thanks for your input.
Added a swing arm bag to my Heritage Anniversary today. Love this bike! It was in the 80s in Florida today, so put on a few more miles.
Ive been looking for a windshield bag just like this. Where can I go to pick one up. Did it need modified. Also the mustache bars were a question as well. I think they look cool but I wouldnt imagine thats where Id have my feet.
