John, thinking hard about a set of slipons like yours. I still have my Power Vision so a new license would get me a good tune from Jamie. I like the looks of the air cleaner so I need to see what filters if any, are available. Then windshield and cruise..

Do you happen to have a list of part numbers for those forward controls?

That is a change that interests me quite a lot!

You know I do! LOL. Join "Harley M8 Softail Owners Group" On facebook, you'll see my stuff and I can easily message you the screen shots of part numbers. It made a big difference, took about an hour to install.

The RC Component slip ons are pretty cheap. $350-$399 Depending on where you get them. I was going to do v&h big radius pipes, but they are so slow coming out I ordered them to get by. They actually sound REALLY good, especially after the cam. I may still buy the big radius (They should be available now) and sell them, only because I have always owned touring bikes and always wanted a softail just so I could have them. (Just like the look!) I only have about 300 miles on mine, rounding up a lot probably. I have the windshield for the low rider that doesn't have the chrome frame across it, I want t switch it out to the other style so I can put a windshield bag. Cruise was on my first to-do list BUT I wanted t wait and see everyone else's bars to see how long the wiring on the cruise was if it'd fit. Plus going to do the chrome switch housings and controls at the same time, and well then we're talking big cash! Champagne dreams on a malt liquor budget! lol.

Yeah, I'm working on paying the bike off so the mods will come slow. A windshield and cruise for sure this spring.

Sent a request to join that Facebook group.

After forward controls, a windshield might be next for me too. I could take 80mph wind all day when I was younger but now it just beats the crap out of me in a not-fun way.

Agreed on the wind. When you think about it, 80mph wind -- that's a hurricane. I don't generally find standing around in hurricanes to be all that fun.

Nice job the forward controls, is it a big improvement?

These bags can store a lot and looks are in line with the saddle....

the controls are defiantly more comfortable... id say they are worth it and pretty easy to do.

I am iffy on the harley bags. I don't like having to move the signals for them to fit. I like these from leatherpros. They don't match the seat though, but still leather. My swing arm bag still looks the sexiest. Lol.
