The Ventilator is one of the lowest profile air cleaners around. I was still hitting my leg on it and was getting annoyed, so I looked at pretty much everything out there and couldn't find anything that was any narrower while maintaining the warranty. And the Ventilator is good for at least Stage II. I got some mini floorboards which moved my foot out a little and now my knee doesn't hit. I'm happy with it now, especially because I have a 114 so it came with the bike.

Just installed the screaming Eagle Heavy breather only to realize it covers up the peg/brake. Fits the motor fine.. What an expensive lesson! I have an SE Heavy Breather on my 18 Fat Bob and everything is just fine for me.

It will vary for everyone depending on your riding style, height, weight etc. I rode the stage 4 with heavy breather demo at the dealership and it got in the way of my leg. I like to keep my legs tucked in close to the tank so I couldn't have lived with it. I'm 6'3" so yea, it got in the way.

Here is the set up on my 115th Fatty. I'm 5' 11" tall and it fits me with no problem.
