Looks good.

Small fuel tanks aren't practical.

In all honesty I expected all the new Softails to have at least five gallons from the factory and the Heritage to have a six gallon.

When you are in rural areas, that extra gallon can mean the difference between walking and not.

That looks fantastic. I am so jealous.

I so wish my 18 Fat Bob had a five gallon tank.

Afraid to ask what it cost to get that new tank all done...

Yep. I adapted a GasFlask 1.25-gallon gas can for my luggage rack for long trips. It works, but it's a silly workaround for the fundamental shortcoming of the stock gas tank.

Does the fuel gauge show the correct fuel remaining until empty with the new tank?

I believe so, the correct fuel pump and sender for the tank is installed

Looks great!
Just another HD component needing to be changed in pursuit of usefulness.

Thanks for that info!

Expensive, sure, but it looks fantastic and I know the utility is going to be a very welcome addition. With the little tank I have to stop every 2 gallons or so before getting a little range anxiety, so you've extended your hassle-free range by about 60%, great job.
