On this bike we used The Last Coat, which is technically not a ceramic coat, it is a liquid glass coating.

On a truck and a Heritage we have done a true ceramic coat, using McKee's 37.

Lot more info on ceramic coating of the Heritage at the following thread. Tomorrow I will be posting more photo's of the Heritage. It really turned out nicely!

They are the Custom Dynamics Bullet Bezel kit. Brighter and a little cleaner. 10 minute install, plug and play.

The heritage shock's remote adjuster doesn't have a ****, it uses the small end of the wrench that comes with the bike. It mounts above the shock sitting at 90° to the shock. All Softail frames have the mount for it. Whether or not the Fat Bob adjuster is the same, I don't know. It has a **** out on the side.

The left is heritage, the right is Low Rider.

I have been kicking around the idea of replacing my Sport Glide shock with one of the standard length shocks from another Softail model. Maybe the Fat Bob? I'll want to maintain the external preload adjuster.

I’m waiting for Ohins to release their mono shock in 13”. Currently it’s only available in 12.5. A little bird told me it’ll be around early summer, and that i’ll be able to get it w/o the remote preload adjuster. I’ll wait for that. Stock shock isn’t terrible. It’s a little rough with the amount of preload I have it cranked to for my fat ***, but it’s the best stock suspension I’ve seen so far on a HD, so I can deal with it while I wait.

Did you happen to measure what the two shock lengths were?

mckees makes some quality stuff. I have used their wheel coatings when I had my srt wheels. I am going to use it to coat the chrome on the breakout since it has a much higher temp threshold. Either way love the two tone.
