2018+ Fat Bob tires

The stock tires lasted me about 10,000 miles. Had some uneven wear/cupping on the front, which was either caused by, or caused, a bad front wheel bearing...

Replaced them with Pirelli Night Dragons. Great tire, happy with it until I found out that the rear's pretty much worn out after only 5,000 miles.

Replacing them with Avon Cobra Chromes, the newest version of the Cobra. We'll see how those last. I'm presuming I'll be replacing these after just a few months too.

The Fat Bob has somewhat unusual wheel sizes apparently, so lots of tires aren't made to fit it. In researching I found a lot of promising sport/touring tires, but none that fit the Fat Bob. What would you recommend for a good sport/touring tire that sticks well in the corners but will last long enough that they won't need replacing every few months?

I've got a set of radial Bridgestone Exedra Max's waiting to be installed. Intereted to see if I feel a difference with the radial tires. Really good feedback all around on the Exedra's.

Nice. Let us know how they perform.

10,000 out of a set .. I'd buy another heh. I'm not sure how long tires last on Harley's but my rear tire on my ZX14 was pretty much done for around 5,000 or less but it was all highway riding.

Im in the night dragon or the new corbra chrome. I want grip not worrried about milage as much. Stock tires are always hard compounds.

Front wheel cupping is usually caused by low tyre pressure or really soft front suspension or both.,
The bad bearing was may not be the cause and yes the tyres on that model might if under inflated cup badly.
There's a few characteristics bikes display if the front forks are soft or tyres under inflated and as this is the internet you know what to do.
Hope it is fixed now ride hard but safe man..

Bearing is fixed and fresh tires are on and it's infinitely better.

I'm just asking about tires because while I have high hopes for these Cobra Chromes, if they don't last long I'll be doing this all over again in a couple of months...

I reckon if tyres wear out sorta quickly ,they're a sticky tyre , and sticky tyres are fun tyres ,peel out tyres, power drift out tyres, that's just my take man.

What about metzeler me888 or the 880 srent they a higher milage tires. Also it sounds like you put alot of miles down. Your just going to burn up tires in most cases. So maybe look at shinkos?

I put on a fair amount of miles, yes. About 15,000 last year. Sport riding, track riding, Backcountry riding, and straight touring. So it seems like a proper sport- touring tire is what would be ideal, I just haven't found one that fits the Fat Bob's big tire sizes. Was wondering if anyone had found one that they really liked yet? I will check out your recommendations.
