Default Slim build underway, looking for springer

My 2018 Slim is apart. I'm doing an S&S 124 kit. I'm looking to eventually have a retro looking bobber style to the bike. If anyone can chime in on putting a springer front end on, please do. I am hoping to find a used crossbones front end, I want the black. I've started to look around but no success. Any input at all is greatly appreciated : Opinions, resources where I might find a springer front end, thoughts on aftermarket (really trying to avoid that if possible).. I'm new to the Harley thing, trying to find my way.
Thanks

Look at TC Bros in Wauseon Ohio for your springer

I have had several springers in years past. I have a 19 Slim. Springers wont fit because they changed the neck dimensions in 2018. The neck is taller so the springer fork stem is not tall enough to bolt up. It needs a fork stem that is taller and extensions on the back leg because with the taller fork stem the upper clamp wont seat. I am working on a kit to remedy this as I have 3 springer front ends in my garage. But it is a long term project.I am talking about Harley springers, I don't think aftermarket has anything yet

thanks Scotty. Good information (albeit bad news). I would like to see what you come up with for a solution. I’m not in a rush to get the Springer on. If I have to wait a season and re-plenish the cash reserves so be it. If you come across a black oem springer let me know. Thanks man

back together, break-in process underway.
The springer project has been temporarily scrapped until there is an OEM bolt on application for the new softail.

This one was built by an Australian Harley Dealer for the Battle of the Kings. I have no more info on it though.
