Seats for Sport Glide

I've had my Sundowner for a while (about 1.5 years). I had noticed I get a lot of pressure on my upper legs after a couple of hours in the saddle. This is from the stock foam flunking out under my butt so there is more weight on my legs (think of it like a toilet seat...LOL). I had a 4.5 hour trip to a job site earlier this summer. My butt and legs were killing me by the end of the trip.
I sent the saddle off to Mean City Cycles and got all the foam replaced with weight-specific memory foam.
Right after I got the saddle back, I had another work trip 4 hours away for 3 weeks in a row (coming home on the weekends). With the new foam it was much better, but I still had the toilet seat feeling just towards the end of the trip.
I ordered a large gel pad from Amazon, cut it to fit my "butt area" for lack of a better term, and placed it on top of my foam. I haven't had any longer trips yet for a full test, but after 2 hours in the saddle on some longer "long way home from work" rides, I'm betting it will be the ticket for me.
I didn't bother trimming out a packet in the foam for the gel pad. I just layed it on top and used some smoothing foam over that. I'm pretty good with metal, wood, and plastic fabrication, but I'm a complete retard when it comes to foam and fabric.

I have a Mustang seat in my SG, and before my FXDC as well.
I think that with the best ones for me, I have made trips of 1000 km in a row with a lot of conformt. My height is 1.86cm.
You are lucky that you can get it quickly and at a good price in the USA. For Europe it is another song.
I recommend it 100% and would buy it again.
