I have ventilator on my sport glide and it sticks out about the same as stock or maybe slightly less, but nothing significant.
For something that your leg won't touch your only option might be the heavy breather kind.
I have been considering the Ventilator for my Sport Glide (currently have the stock air cleaner). I was also hoping to get a little more Right Knee leg room. What is your inseam? I have a 31" inseam myself. I'd like to know what kind of difference to expect.
FYI and FWIW. When I purchased the "Screamin Eagle Ventilator Air Cleaner Kit Milwaukee-Eight Engine" as shown in the link above, it did not come with a K&N filter. It was a white filter and even if it was manufactured by K&N, and was not washable. I actually replaced mine with a pink K&N branded filter that is washable.
