Buddy bought this in September, we’ve been picking away at it over the winter. Few more parts still in the mail, Cultwerks front fender and fork covers, FP3.
Just need spring to hurry up and get here

Default Another New FXDR Owner here with changes

I know I'm late to the post but I just joined yesterday and have had the bike just under 2 weeks.

Really disliked the rear license plate/brake mount so that was the first thing to go. Here are changes: Already fabricated new bracket to relocate license plate with a curved unit w/ LED brake, running light and wanted it to look factory. Also modified stock air cleaner until my new one comes in, new grips installed, and removed reflectors from front fork tubes to black it out. Coming soon... New SE Elite breather air cleaner, Mid controls, Exhaust -Trask assault 2 into 1 - having it custom coated now, likely rear fender/lights from thunderbike, seat, pull back bars without much more rise- just enough to clear the tank, add chin spoiler, etc. Front LED turn signals. That should do it for now. Waiting for the FEDEX and USPS daily is killing me. Let me know if I can help you guys with anything!

I'd like to know more about the 'pull-back' bars and mid controls you intend to fit.

Default Mid controls and pull back bars FXDR

Changing to mid controls requires new inner and outer primary for shift shaft hole/mount. Mids are take offs from a FXBB and cost was only $200.

Just returned from 100 mile ride and lower back is a little tired and right hand is numb- likely due to no bushings in clip on bars.

Not sure if I will change the bars quite yet. Going to see how it fits after changing to mid controls and I imagine in the near future someone will come back with some clip one for closer reach. Was looking at needed end rise and pull back needed just in case though.

I’ll keep updating.
