Ya, I know that's an option too, LOL, it'll free up that black cover for you.

I had been thinking of the Touring stocker, like the shape of the chrome bit, but see where you're going Mike with the black "brick" under it that blocks the visuals on the push rod tubes and crowds the lifter blocks. So, that's a NO on the Touring.

The oval ventilator looks fine the way it is. Is your bike really a 114? If not, it's a poser.

The vinyl wrap is an original idea. I'd look to match the silver on your tank swooshes. That would be a nice subtle touch - a little more attention than the black, a little less attention than the white. Either the engine inch size plate or the Screamin' Eagle insert would work fine with that.

And thanks for posting this. It makes me think about where I want to go with my bike. Have definitely ruled out the Touring AC because you posted this.

The big plastic gets eliminated when you go to an aftermarket filter element like Arlen Ness and the Vance & Hines. EDIT: I'm a 114 poser.

Silver ventilator looks good too, which just adds to the confusion.

I actually like the round one in your signature picture better than the others, but my tastes are little weird and old school anyway.

I think the top one looks the best. It would probably look great in chrome also.
