Default Installing mini apes on my Sport Glide...

I've run into a snag. It's obvious wires aren't going to reach back to the plug module. Just a little short. Is cut and splice in extra length SOP here? Buy extensions? Asked the guy at the parts counter if I needed extensions and he said no. Sigh.

TIA

Check out Namz, they have several plug and play extensions that may work for you. Dennis Kirk also sells their stuff. I'd go for extensions first, cut and splice as a second choice. Those wires are really small gauge, 20 or 22; I would solder and heat shrink and not use splices if I were to go that route. TBW can also be touchy resistance-wise and it doesn't help that it has 6 wires, 2 red, 2 white and 2 black and they can't be mixed up.

I was lucky on my Low Rider, I put on 10" mini-apes and the wire lengths were ok. Had to go 2" over on clutch cable and brake line though.
