Ok Spring is here and that means mod time... I have a few questions if you guys can help me out.

a. Intake - I'm running V&H exhaust. Many folks told me the HD intake is efficient enough and I just added a K&N. Anyone see any difference with a HiPo intake?
b. Windshield - Im thinking of adding an HD 15 incher. I've read the 15 puts the wind right in your chest and if your over 6 feet tall, use the 19 incher. Thoughts?
c. Short back rest, luggage rack and mounting kit so its removable - thoughts?
d. I moved the license bracket so its a laydown mounted near the rear axle - Does anyone use saddlebags or a swingarm bag that fits with this set up?

If the Fat Boys is a 114 it has more than enough intake as supplied by the mother ship.

 

Personally, I would get the memphis shades and have it measured to fit you and your bike.

 

My experience is with the Fat Bob, not the Fat Boy, so take it for what it's worth, but the HD 15 inch was too short for me. I'm only 5' 8" tall, and I think the 19 inch is a bit too short. I can't stand helmet buffeting, and the combo of the 19" with some fangs has largely eliminated it.

I have the Harley removable sissy bar and luggage rack combo with the passenger backrest pad. They offered two sizes, normal and short. The short was absurdly short. The normal one is what I would consider a short backrest. With the Sundowner seat, the taller sissy bar and backrest pad barely clear the passenger seat's thickness.
