Default Heavy Breather and Pro Street Tuner

Hello I am just looking to add the heavy breather and pro street tuner right now so that I can maintain my warranty. I have a 2018 sport glide and honestly like the style of the stock pipe better than the slip-on. Is there/can I flash the bike for a tune with just the heavy breather or do you have to have the slip-ons for any canned map?

You can just put the breather on. You don’t need to turn till you do something with your pipes I had the breather put on mine day one. It alone doesn’t off set enough to mess with tunning. You’ll just be doing it twice if you upgrade anything else later.

I agree with this. I would at least put the Heavy Breather on and try it without the tuner if you are leaving the exhaust stock. Some folks have even said their bikes ran worse with the Stage 1 download if they only change either the air cleaner or the mufflers. The either or part is key

Sound advice. I just ride quite a bit and travel a ways away from home so I wouldn't want a break down that leads be to another dealer that gives me crap for not tuning the bike with a new AC on it. I may just need to leave it alone since I really don't like the look of the screamin eagle slip-ons for the sport glide. Luckily I have been happy with the 107 power. Just liked the looks of the AC.

The dealer did mine and even said you don’t need to tune it with just an intake change out. Even just pipes depending on what ones don’t need tuning. Both will always need it.
Thats pretty standard with intakes thou. It’s not going to make a big difference to the point of needed tuning. I rannit that way for a year before deciding on pipes and internals I wanted.
