Spectro is a quality company that serves the motorcycle industry. Spectro was highly recommended for BWM newer gear boxes. The 6 speed product mentioned by the OP was a response to the new 6 speeds transmission requirements. I have used it sense 2007 . I ride in winter also and in some extreme cold the product flows well under those condition also. It is a GL 5 SYN. It may not be the right lube for some older gear boxes.
They make great products for that also. The RED color makes it easy to see also.
I have to say, I put the Spectro in my tranny at the 10K service and it really made no difference. If anything, the tranny now sounds louder when shifting.
I am going to have HD put Syn 3 back in at the 15K service, which will be next week.

Dont expect any improvement.
Sorry Dude Syn3 is the worst oil for a 6speed tranny........been there done that,,, Redline all the way
What you put in your primary and how you adjust your clutch will have the greatest affect on shift quality. Not to mention new oil will outperform old oil. These are just some general observations to think about when switching around oils.
