Default Using a wireless phone charger

My friend has been using a wireless phone charger like below. However, they all are directly wired to the battery. Can you splice the cable to a USB plug and use the USB port in the neck? I believe that port is 5 volt versus the battery is 12 volt. However, I thought that all the phone chargers step it down from 12 volt to 5 volt so wondering if it would work. Just trying to not have to wire directly to the battery.

Or has anyone found a wireless phone charger using USB?

Not on that one, it tells you input is 12-24v. You could get the Ciro QC mount. It uses a USB cable.

Thanks but the Ciro on Amazon indicates it also wired to the battery. Do you know the model number that plugs into the USB port?

Go purchase the HD accessory plug. You just plug it in and you have 12V switched. You can also get 12V constant but you don't need it for that accessory. It's like a 15 minute task start to finish.
