Purchased the Harley LED running light - blinkers. The lense caps on both have cracked front to back all around the caps perimeter. Now granted the lights are guaranteed for 1 year, and I'm 2 months past the warranty, but these lights spent a third of that time in my garage under a cover. Thought maybe the dealer where I have purchased 2 bikes and many other items might step up and help me out a bit, nope sorry.
I don't know maybe I'm whinning, but kind of expected the dealer to maybe meet me half way.
So if you're looking at some LED lights I would go with Custom Dynamics ( life time warranty ) or maybe Pro Beam, but steer away from Harleys version.

 

I wonder what caused the lens caps to crack because I have the H-D LEDs installed, too.

 

Don't know, dealer says they have never seen this happen before. Another dealer I stopped in says they have seen it a few times.

 

Yeah, I just checked mine and they seem to be crack free. It sucks that your dealer wouldn’t at least meet you halfway.
