Good news fellas! I didnt fry any voltage regulator. But I cant return the voltage regulator because Las Vegas Harley says there are no returns on electrical components. Even if the factory dielectric grease is in the terminal connector. Bastards.
Turns out the DC lead coming off the voltage regulator didnt have a good connection. Tried to peel back the rubber insulation and pinch the connector tighter but ruined it. So gonna get a new harness. Thanks for the help though fellas!

Never heard of anyone who take back electrical parts. I would never even ask. auto shops used to have signs that said that.
Not sure what it cost, but you can probably sell it on ebay or craigslist. Just mark it someway that you'll know it's yours in case they try to pull a fast one.
Not sure what the sell know, but on the bike I replaced the wire for, they sold you around 18" that you had to splice in. I missed where it came into the topic.
Got another harness coming in Tuesday from a buddy in Denver. Besides a crimper, do I need any other special tools? How difficult is it to connect the red end into the ECU? Hopefully I can find a YouTube video to kinda get an idea of what Im getting myself into before I actually do it. Ive got a 2022 service manual and a 2021 wiring diagram.

Red goes to BCM should just be able to splice into the red wire that is already there that goes from the BCM to the Voltage Regulator. Make it easy on yourself and splice down where the regulator wires are near the voltage regulator, leaving enough slack to heat shrink and zip tie with some anti chafe tubing if there is not some there from the OEM installation.
