Will 2024 will be the year that Harley locks down their ECU's with 128-bit encryption preventing aftermarket tunes? I recently read that 2023 Polaris pp108 models (Challenger & Pursuit) have locked ECU's. Both the EPA and EU are pushing anti tamper encryption

There's a big class action lawsuit against Deere by farms, don't know where it's at. Could be stuck in courts forever. I remember customers were peeved at Cummins when we locked down ECM's for authorized service tools only - but you should know that EPA mandated it, Cummins benefited from it but would not have done so independently.
