Default Rear Brake pad replacement on a softail deluxe with V&H BigShots Long

Could someone please tell me if I need to remove my V&H BigShots Long pipes to replace rear brake pads?
I am very new at the wrenching and wasn't sure if I can get bolts out of the caliper without removing the pipes. I'll be attempting this for the first time. My only experience so far has been changing oil (all three) once and a few other things like clutch adjustment, throttle cable lube and adjustment etc.
2015 softail deluxe
Thank you!

What year? Do you have a manual? You tube is your friend.
I have Big Shots Longs on mine and do not have to remove the pipes.

I can explain it to you if like.

2015
When I look at the lower caliper bolt, I can't tell for sure if I would be able to get it out. It seems like the pipes will get in the way. The bolt seems to be longer than the space.

Do you think you can get the pad pins out?

Mine has only 2 pins that hold just the pads in place. If you can get those out, then you can do it without removing the caliper.

Ah..okay. I'll try that way and see if I can do it. Thank you!
I was just hung up on the step in the Manual where it says to unscrew the bolts and pull the caliper off the disc and then unscrew and remove the pin holding the two pads together.

If you GENTLY pry one pad away from the disc, you can remove the pins and the pad should drop out. Replace that pad, install pins, hit the brakes to seat the pad. Then pry the other pad away, remove the pins, drop that pad out and replace it, re-install pins and hit the brake to re-set the pads.
It isn't as difficult as it sounds and will be a lot easier than removing your pipes.

Sorry about that. I just checked the manual again. It is the slider pin that seems to be too long.
