Default Oil under my rear left shock.

Just joined..and “thank you” in advance..live up in New England area..been cold,so went to my bike and saw puddle of oil under left rear Air shock.Woner if I should save it,or try a new system?I’ll be riding 2 up probably 50% of time on long trips. Oh 2002 Road King 12000 miles ,I believe these are stock....still trying to find valve to add air?..reading progressive 440s may be way to go..but another 500 plus install...thanks my new Amigos..

probably had a seal failure from the cold weather and not repairable on most shocks. they are also nitrogen filled if gas shocks unless you have air ride. some hd shocks were repairable but you will not get parts from hd as they do not consider them serviceable, you will have to go after-market for parts.

Shocks are air over hydraulics, Same thing happened to my 2014 road king, shock had to be replaced.
