wow, can't believe spending 5 to 10 percent the cost of a new bike on suspension....unbelievable.

Actually you don't have to drop a shock. I was there getting mine installed on Wed and Aaron explained to me how to drain the tranny without dropping the shock. Call him and he'll explain but here goes what I remember. Pump sytem to full height. Put on jack and life rear wheel off of ground. Place a 2x4 under the rear wheel and dump it. This should allow access to the tranny drain plug. His number is (818) 203-2853. Call him with all your questions. He WILL answer them. I vote for the HI-Lo as it has a lifetime warranty and all my buds have it too. No one has ahd any problems with it either, and it is cheaper than the competition with the warranty. Anyway, enough out of me.

The compressor gets mounted where the smog cannister is on CA bikes which is in front of the splash guard for the rear wheel. With SAS you HAVE to remove the unit to drain the tranny, with Hi-Lo you don't. The sas unit looks nice, but I really like my Hi-Lo.

With the HI-LO where do they put the switch on the bike to raise and lower ?
Also - I believe I saw a remote key-chain unit that can be purchase as well. ?

The switch to raise and lower is under the seat on the left side so you can do it on the fly.

I have seen 2 baggers with the Arnott system. Both riders gave it a thumbs up. I need to lower this 09 UC so that I can back it up and ease of parking. I have also bought a center stand from Wheeldock as part of the HD goup buy. I bought the lower stand. I am hoping I can drop the stand then lower the bike on the stand. Should be a great improvement in sitting on my bike at rallies and at bike nights. Hate sitting on a leaned over bike. Especially the 09's. They lean farther over do to the raised frame. I am thinking I will go with the Arnott do to the price, seeing it in actiona and the recommendations from guys I ride with.

i also went with the arnott system it is awesome, easy to install and superb customer service. here is the thread i posted about it. Rocker C with air ride (video).https://www.hdforums.com/forum/showt...ht=rocker+ride

Arnotts. I got them on my V-rod, they ride like regular shocks/springs. They actually ride and handle better than the Progressive 412's I had on previously. No bounciness, no crappy handling, no compromises.

Arnott makes replacement air ride components for Cadillac, Lincoln, Land Rover, etc. They know what they're doing

the shotgunshock softail air ride is more reasonably priced and comes with convenient brackets to mount the compressor. only one air line and it dosnt hold air for suspension only to tranfer air into the unit. height and rebound are controlled by four internal solnoids for superior control of the suspension at any height. the shotgunshock has the ability to control the rebound and spring rate at any ride height, how do these other systems control rebound? check out www.shotgunshock.com
