Question Oil in airlines???

Hey all- I have a 99' Ultra Classic. The other day, I was checking the air pressure in my rear suspension. It did have the correct pressure, BUT when I removed the pressure gauge, a bunch of oil squirted out of the valve stem. Just to make sure I was not halucinating, I pressed the stem again and sure enough, more oil came out. Seems as though nothing BUT oil is coming out. Now, I have had a few bikes with air suspensions and I have NEVER seen this before. Anyone else experience this? Does this mean my shocks are shot and puked all of their oil out up to the air lines?
The front shocks have the same thing going on.
Any help would be appreciated.

yes on a 1998 road king classic..very tiny amount of oil..not pouring or gushing out...about a drop sometimes not every time.

This is why you need at different type air pump that also checks pressure the shock maybe air but they still have oil in them.
Term often used is zero loss.
