Looks great, Greg! I know you're not done as far as mods are concerned but your ride is looking sweet indeed. Can't wait until I can say I've got the shotgun shocks too.
Emailed and answered. 1250 Delivered. I've got to think about it. Lots of scratch for shocks.
I know what u mean...I felt the same way but with this set up you can achieve the best ride quality you can get from a softail.and if you ride 1up and 2up at different times a lot you have to adjust to compensate for that.it will be a flip of a couple switches.

Thank you and so does yours.you will love the ss.I think my next mod will be chrome inner primary and get the yost power tube for carburator and get the bike dyno tuned.
I have 422's on my Heritage which handle very well but I also have a few screwed up disc in my lower back & bumps on the parkways at 50+ feel like a knife if I don't push up in time with my legs. Does the shotgun really absorb bumps better the conventional softail shocks? Otherwise I don't need it.
I don't have any back issues but I did have 422's and I can tell you they don't even come close to comparing to Shotgun. If you have any concerns at all call JD. He is an honest guy and would much rather have another satisfied customer than a one time sale. If it's not going to do what you are expecting, he will tell you.

I agre.....I spoke to Jd for quite awhile before pulling the trigger and as nice as it is to slam the bike my main concern was a better ride quality and I noe have it

Greg, we have a few local parkways that I ride often that have joints that have been filled with blacktop that sticks up 3-4" from the surface. Hit these at any speed & it's jolting. Lift up with your feet & the back end jumps. Tell me you think the shotgun will absorb these grenades & I just may try it.

Golfblues, we have similar grenades here in southern Cali. The SS sytem will EAT THEM UP. I also have some back problems, along with my wife, and with the SS you can't believe the ride.
I would say to go ahead and pull the trigger and get them.

What I will say is you can adjust it to absorb them better than anything else will.
