Default help

My Dad always told me about how my Uncle Bill, Bill Eddleman, drove a Harley from California to New Mexico when he was 12. He also said he ended up being the flat track champion of El Paso after an old man that had retired to the area around Silver City, New Mexico, stopped him one day and said if Bill would slow down he would teach him how to ride or he was going to kill himself. Apparently, he was a famous motorcycle racer from back East. My Dad did not know his name and, unfortunately, I am not sure what year it was.

As far as I knew there were no pictures of Uncle Bill and his Harley. However, after my Dad died last year his nephew sent me a slew of scanned photos. A few were of Uncle Bill. I was hoping that someone could tell me what year and model they are. Thanks in advance for any help.
