are you talking about all the wiring for the controls on the pods as well as the speakers themselves?

Yes I would like to duplicate the oem harness for the controls on the pods and the intercom. I bought stock pods of a 2014 ultra limited to put on my street glide special . I all ready have the male molex m150 connector that connects to the pods at the seat.

man you'd be better off just buying the HD harness. I'm sure there are folks out there with 14 models that pulled that stock wiring harness out completely like I did.

That's why I am here on the forums vers at the dealer for help! Any harness I can make, its not too hard to pin out a connector. If there are take off parts out there in the world I will also do that.

you've got a minimum of 5 Deutch and Molex connectors you need to make up. that alone is going to cost you some $ by the time you get the connectors, the internal plastics for the connectors, the pins, the appropriate crimp tool for the pins, the wiring itself, sheathing for the wiring, and then last but not least, a service manual to be able to follow the wiring and terminate it where it goes.

There are a LOT of electrical things I do and am willing to do. Some just aren't worth the headache and this is one of them IMO. Still think you're better off trying to find a used one somewhere. The wiring diagrams I have are all up to date but none of them show the actual part # of the entire harness itself. Looking at the 14 FLHTK which would have everything you need, this appears to be multiple wiring harnesses.

14-15 models are all molex.. looks like there are 3 connectors coming off the radio that are not used on a special that look like 2 that need to be used for speaker's and communications.. HD doesn't give part numbers for certain harnesses to make life easy to purchase them so here I am to make what I need... I have access to molex tools at work so that's not an issue.. I guess I need to go rouge and take the fairing off to get the molex part numbers off the connectors to order the opposite side of the connector off of ebay and buy the wire manual off the net too!

Have you seen the full wiring diagram of the FLHTCU or FLHTK that you're going to base this project off of?

Look in the 2014 thread, I just posted the wiring colors and pin locations of the rear speaker outputs. That's the easy part. Getting the communications, headset plugs, switch bank, etc. are going to be your challenge but keep us informed on your progress sir.

Good to know HD got away from the Deutsch connectors. Too damned expensive.

Default Connectors...

So is there a thread on Molex connector numbers and pinouts for the 14/15 radios? Looking to make a harness to attach an aftermarket amp to a 2014 and would like to get some molex info?
