AAWAV can add this to the wants to his list. Arc moto 600.4 bridged will do the rated 300 rms bridged. I tested 308.75 watts with a slight bit more to add. I did not test unbridged. AAWAV you can PM me with any ?'s.

Thanks for doing this comparison for us. I would like to see what the Pioneer GM-D1004 does. I heard it has a lot of ajustiblity for a small amp.

thanks Slyedog - seems you got your equipment as well.
the only comment I can make here is, we would theoretically compare "apples and oranges", as I did my tests all exactly the same with the same power resistor bank, set up etc.
now in real life we know the moto is a powerful amp.

not worth it to put on our our rides..
specs say 45W RMS at 2 AND 4 ohm. simply not going to cut it and for same price or a little bit more there are way better amps out there.

I completely understand that. If I was to do this more often I could build a resistor bank with some 4 ohm 100 watt resistors. I could do 4 in series parallel to be good for up to 400 watts. The power supply I can get for about $180 for a 50 amp 13.8v but can't justify the expense as I'll likely use it only a few times.

FYI I got 4 8ohm ones. 4 ohm wont; work all in parallel. they can be found cheap. I stuck them on a large piece of U profile metal for the heat.
As you might have read I tested all amps on my bikes power, Engine running.

I already ordered them too. I assumed I could run them like I would calculate 4 speakers in series parallel to get my 4 ohm load. Now I realize I would only be good for half the watts. Appreciate the info as I am becoming more interested in electronics again. Even outside of audio.

I gotcha on the parallel thing. The wattage will only be 200 instead of 400 due to the series in the circuit. So if I want a 4 ohm 400 watt load, I need 4 16 ohm 100 watt resistors all in parallel. Or I get 200 watt 8 ohm resistors and have a 400 watt 4 ohm or a 800 watt 2 ohm. Wheels are greased now. :icon_clapclap:

Has anyone bench tested the Cerwin Vega B54 in 4 channel and bridged configuration? I'm curious what kinda power it puts out.
