Just as the title states. I will be pairing these with a pbr300x2. Just want to know what's a direct drop in. Already have the boom upgrade speaker grills which should allow for more room

 

I would run 6.5".. You can get an adapter ring for $20 and is just a four screw install. I run the

It is same ohm as stock speakers and sound great.

 

Where do you get the adaptor ring? And the 62.11i is a 6.5" speaker right? Are you running this on a 14 and up?

Yes custom883 that is the right speaker. Don't buy it directly from the infinity dealer. You can find them for around $125 on amazon. You can buy an adapter ring from eastern customs if you want but you'll probably pay $50 for it. I've installed several with the ones from eBay and amazon with no problems for $20. It's just a plastic ring and $50 is ridiculous. Just watch where it is shipped from so you don't have to wait two weeks to get it. Lol

All depends. If you mount them on the outside of the pod you will need the Harley Boom grills or the tweeters and surrounds will rub. I mounted mine INSIDE the pods and used my stock grills to save some cash
