Best speakers and amp for a 2015 RGS
#2
Hello. Not sure if your looking for something simple or more intense. My husband and I run The Rockford Fosgate Power series in our bikes. Im running four 6.5, two 8" woofers in each bag, and two RF 400 watt 4 channel amps one amp for all 6.5's and other for the two 8" woofers. I have a custom Heritage Softail.
My husband is running four 6.5, four tweeters in front, two 6.9 in speaker lids, two 8" woofers in each bag, and two RF 400 watt 4 channel amps. My husband has a custom street glide.
All were installed professionally. The sound on the bikes are crystal clear. No static or muffled sound. The bass is clear and strong. You can hear and understand all the words to every song played. Another good quailty sound is by JL audio. Hopefully this will give you a little insight on a few sound systems to start with.

No Budget:
BT7P14 PRO's in the upper fairing
BT477 6.5 speakers in the lower fairing.
BT479HT 6x9 rear lid and speaker kit
BT4180.14 4 channel amp.
Budget:
2 sets of infinity 62.11i speakers for the upper and lower fairing.
1 set of infinity 693.9i speakers for the hog tune lids.
Soundstream 1000D amp.to run the 4 upper and lower fairing speakers.
Cerwin Vega B2 amp for the lid speakers.
Both systems are loud and clear as hell going down the road at 75 MPH. Just depends on how much you want to spend and if you want to keep your FM radio reception. The soundstream amp will kill your FM reception.

Do you have a plan to work around the DSP in your head unit? If you had a 2013 or older the gurus in here would be throwing out all kinds of ideas at you but since you have the new head unit you will have to do something to flatten out the EQ curve built in. You can TRY t do a dealer flash, but that has mixed results, and could get wiped out by the next software update. You can try a Magic Box from Cycle Sounds (this what I am running). You could hold off for another 6 weeks and try the new magic box deluxe they will have out that is adjustable.
Focal 165KRC's are $800 a pair.... These ARE the best! still interested? you could match those with an Arc,JL, or Diamond amp
