I haven't checked that site out, but there's other forums that say the same Hertz being the end all be all. Here are my thoughts -- 100% Hertz has some bad *** products, in fact, I run Hertz HCX 690 in my lids and a Hertz HDP4 amp. Those 6X9's are the loudest and cleanest sounding speakers on my bike, and the HDP4 pushes more power than any amp I've tried. Now......I also have Infinity 693.9i 6X9's inside my bags. They are no where near as super clean crisp as the Hertz, but the get almost as loud and BLOW them away in bass. Not even close, the Hertz have no bass in comparison. The Hertz speakers are 450.00 the Infinity's were 120.00. The Hertz HDP4 amp is extremely loud. Gannicus can share our conversations as I convinced him he absolutely needed this amp at 599.00 to replace a 189.00 Soundstream TN4.900. Our first thoughts, were holy cow is this thing loud ---- but where did the bass go? The sound just wasn't warm enough compared to the 189.00 Soundstream. I mean it sounded really good with an amp that cost a fraction of the price. Some folks swear by the HDP4 because it gets so damn loud and at the same time I know folks that have ditched it for a JL 600/4, so there's that.
So would I say that my hertz amp is 400.00 better? The speakers 300.00 better? I don't know. If I had a big wheel bagger with air ride, custom paint job, etc. Probably. If I was an average joe who rode his bike with a stage 1 upgrade, and not much else --- hell no. Get a BT set up that has a life time warranty and sounds fantastic. I think the biggest challenge BT faces is they are lumped in with the likes of J&M, Hogtunes, Boom II, etc. all the "bike" audio that really is subpar.

This Hog belongs to my buddy Ofay in Jax, FL. He likes to do things custom. Figured I'd share so my only contribution wasn't just a wise *** comment.

(Can't understand why I only did speakers in my 2010....the one on my RGS blows the stock system away, wife couldn't hear the music going down the road,, (She can now,, actually asks me to turn it down! )
