Biketronics FLHTP POLICE BIKE PACKAGE 2014 AND UP
This is my first motorcycle audio system after 16 years of owning bikes and ridding.. Overall I am pretty pleased with The Biketronics package. Now I have not installed a stereo in a vehicle since 1988, in my IROC Z, so I was a little rusty on the install and the instructions from Biketronics were a little vague but I got through it. Now the amp installs above the radio, and the double din opening is below the radio mount so this called for a removal of a cross plate that secured the fairing. I ended up using a plasma cutter and cut the plate to fit around the amp. This is recommended because with out it the fairing is wobbly.
Once installed the system sounds great I went with the amp upgrade and the 7.1 speakers.. http://www.biketronics.com/flhtp-pol...e-2014-and-up/

Hi,
I am somewhat confused by what you had to cut and why. With our kit you do not need to cut anything and we retain the black structural plate that goes across the radio area. It is sandwiched between our amp plate and the top of the radio mount.
I am really sorry if that was not clear in our instructions, I will look into updating them if needed.
Thanks,
Bill

I ordered the same system on Presidents Day. After hearing your video, I'm excited. How long did it take Biketronics to mail you your system? Seems like they are taking a long time to get it to me. I sent you a PM as well, there was some things I saw you did to your bike I would like to do.

I am wondering if you have our instructions for the older bikes, the ones for the new bike clearly show the plate on the radio but the old ones do not.
Here are the new ones, sorry for the inconvenience on this.
