Changing a few things up tonight. Swapping the Focals from the fairing to the tour pak pods, swapping the RF TM400x2AD out for a Diamond Micro 4v2, and installing Hertz HSK165XL in the fairing. I've already put some Pioneer Pro 6x9s in the lids.
A tip on the diamond. With 2 channel input to retain stereo use left 1 pos and 3 neg, right 2 pos 4 neg. That eliminates y splitters. Otherwise you have to use it in 4 chan mode with y splitters to keep a left and right stereo effect. Running 250 is about the mechanical limit on my xl's. Any more and I would be crossed at 100hz 18 to 24 db. Sponger you have to be at 350 combined not per side. At least with my Arc 250 was about it and the sweet spot. Thats crossed 80hz 18db. I can go to 12 db on most metal stuff but no hip hop or some heavy bass alternative stuff.
Well its working so far. Ive read that the passive crossover pulls some wattage from the amp, so im sure they arent getting a true 350. Lots of peeps online say they can easily take 300.
I also dont have the bass cranked, and when im riding i keep the hu at 100 hz.

And im running a ppi 900.4 amp to them. 450x2@4 ohms bridged.
