Choosing an amp for the TS6900PRO
I'm getting some body work done on my Street Glide due to some paint damage. Perfect time to put in speaker lids for the saddle bags. Does anybody know of anything wrong with the OEM lids from Harley, Part Number 90200612 for $149 apiece? It's either I go with these or HogTunes Lid Kit for $399. Are there any difference on clearance?
Also, I am putting in the Pioneer TS6900PRO 6 x 9's, and I have two amps I have on the shelf as spares.
Rockford Fosgate PBR300X2 Punch 300-Watt 2CH
Power Acoustik RZ42000D 2000W 4CH
I had the RZ42000D and planned on putting it in the front fairing but I could not get it to fit, so never used it.
The TS6900PRO say 100 Watts (Nominal). I'm thinking the RZ42000D would drive these better than the PBR300X2. The PBR300X2 says 100 RMS at 4 ohm. I don't want to blow them since the RZ42000D is 160-Watt X 4 at 4-ohm. What happens when you use a 4 channel amp for only two speakers with an RMS 60 watts over the recommended speaker nominal rating?

Hogtunes +1...just tell your painter to watch the sides of the lids ("lip around").
mine were wavey after painting. Painter found it beforee me and fixed it pretty good.
look at sticky for AMP info... Gannicus is correct. run bridged and it fits.
you might need to trim bottom part off of your gauges... I did without any issue
