My BAL designed install

4 Attachment(s)
AW6.5 mids, AT28 horns, D4 amp and crossovers.

So far this thing sounds great. Still need to get the fairing on, break in the speakers and do a final tune. I need to get my cylinders and heads back first. LOL

Still need to tuck wires and make it presentable. I'll do that after the final tune just in case I need to make adjustments.

When you have an avatar (the picture to the left of the signature) as unbelievable as yours… Do you have any idea how difficult it is to read your post?

Thank you. :icon_dance-twist:

Nice work man!

I installed the amp onto the stock tray without modifying it. Has anyone else done this with the D4 and got your fairing on? I haven't tried yet and I'm hoping it goes right on.

I didn't use the D4 (went with the JL MHX280/4), but in looking at your picture and comparing it to my previous amp (SS-PN520.4) it looks to me like your fairing is going to clear. If not, you may have to rethink the location of the BT355.

Is that the Noico sound deadener from Amazon? That's what I used and am very happy with the product. I sealed the seams with Flexco metal duct tape, to give it a nice finished look.

When you get everything button-up, please post a video. How about some Stevie Ray Vaughn @ 80 mph?

Nice clean install. If i could get my fairing on with the Diamond 800.2, you should be able to get your fairing on no problem with the D4.

Got the fairing back on. The clutch side BT bracket arm was off a little. Of course that also moves the rest of the mounting holes off center.

It cleared the amp and BT LL positions.

U talking about the long bolt hole that goes thru the inner fairing?
