Wonder how it compares to the Pioneers everyone is using in their lids.

 

Specs look good. Just depends on the price as the bang for the buck on the Pioneers really is unheard of. $124 bucks for killer 6x9 is gonna be hard to beat.
But if we don't try new shix, we will never know, right?

I've heard good things about the DD 6x9's but haven't heard them in person yet, I bet Haze can get them though and he may have even tested them. Send him a PM and see.

 

I'm more than happy with my new DD front setup, but I'm with T. The Pioneer pros are going to hard to beat for the price. I was in the garage doing a little tuning yesterday and they sound great, and bump pretty good. I had looked at the DD 6x9 after I bought my lids, but decided to play it safe and go with the recommended.

 

He said the Pioneers would be "louder" due to the horn size on them.
I'm wondering which ones will give more bass?
Price isn't too far off from the Pioneers, plus these are marine grade.
Just need to find those US Marine grade speakers.

 

I tried to be a guinea pig, but they already tried the ones I ordered,, sent them back without opening the boxes they came in, got my 6900 Pro's today, and my Vtwin adapters! Woooo HOOOOOOOO

I had 10" kicker square solobaric speakers in a car setup years ago. The design itself is amazing and outperformed most 15" back then. Amazing.

 

That is bass azz.. how do they sound?
