Default New member needing some connector help.

Figured I would ask over here as the connectors might be common to audio as well.

I was changing bars. Went with the Klockwerks Ergo back bars, with the new seat I only needed a couple of inches back.

Pulled the wires thru the bars, bent a couple of pins and broke one. I don't know how to identify the connector, or where to buy male terminals. Its not the Deutch type, its the other multi pin.

Can some one point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

They are readily available at most any dealer and are not expensive. You need a crimp tool for these. Only aftermarket is namz but I would buy from dealer personally.

If the Harley dealer can't help you out, check auto dealers. I was a GM Tech for years, and our parts dept had a shelf with bins of different terminals. I can't tell you how many harnesses I had to repair due to moisture/corrosion damage.

As said above, the dealer has all the connectors, cheap. Find your part number here...http://shop.outpostalaska.com/OEMpartfinder.htm and give them a call.

Got em, thanks all. Sometimes I go the long way around to avoid the dealer, DuH :-) On a side note, my throttle sensor was tight on the Klockwerks bars. They stepped up imediately and sent me another set, work perfectly. I guess the chrome was too heavy on that end.
