Default 2012 budget build fairing lids and amp?

Hey guys i know it has probably been discussed and I've probably read it but the more i read the more confused i become. I have a 2012 ultra limited and I'm looking to upgrade the fairing speakers factory lid speakers and amp. I am on a budget so this is why I'm so confused if I wasn't id just go pick a plug and play kit. I think I'm going to run the soundstream pn4.520d just not sure what speakers to run in the fairing and lids any help would be greatly appreciated!

What is the budget for this? Do you need to buy lids with this budget?

This will help the guys suggest the best bang for your budget.

I'm gonna guess here and say a Soundstream PN4.1000D with Infinity Kappas all around, but I'd wait for Gannicus and a couple others post first.

I know the SPRs have been a good tour pak pod speaker around here, but i dont think i have heard much of them being in the fairing. Be patient and wait for the guys to put their recommendations in, you'll be glad you waited.

the soundstream pn4 1000d will give you plenty of good power on a tight budget, but you will most likely lose FM radio reception
if you can get adapters, go 6x9 in your lids and use pioneer pro 6900 speakers

List of speaker adapters on eBay 5x7 to 6x9

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...o+6x9&_sacat=0

That's the way to go upgrade to a 6x9 or a 6.5 component set back there to get some good sound.

CT Sounds is a solid budget speaker with option for fairing and lids. There Meso line is solid, there amps I hear perform well and fit in thrvfsiring well also...
Pioneer pro series line is good also - TS-A or separates in TS-M lines.
DD Audio is a good choice as well. There VO 6.5 and a T2 tweeter in fairing and in lids with the adapter plate would sound really good.
Can't ever go wrong with the infinity kappa series
I've used the Cerwin Vega b54 amp and the DS18 Candy 4D, both class D amps, small in size good power. I've had good returns for the money from both
