He damn sure isn't lying either! I have the TS-6900 Pioneer Pro's in my HT lids, and they are definitely worthy. I've been called a "rolling block party" amongst other things...lol. Of course the front stage is super important, and for that I chose the BT 7.1 Pro's. That's it..4 speakers, one amp, 2 line leveler's, and heads turn from a long distance. Aside from being loud, many people compliment me on the clarity of my music. The Pioneer's are big, and I did trim down the inside lip on my bags to minimize the lid lifting/rubbing of the magnets, as well as purchased original HD lid gaskets, as the foam rubber ones the HT lids came with were a PITA to get the lids latched...lot of stress on my latches trying to close them. Stock gaskets are much nicer rubber, and the lids almost close normal now.

Pioneers are little babys compared to the Arc 692s and they fit just fine. Those Arcs are insanely large.

I have a pair of Pioneer Pros in my Hogtune lids and they sound amazing! The magnet rubs ever-so-slighty while I'm shutting my bags, but that's the trade-off I was willing to accept for great sound. I also have a pair of Arc Moto 692's firing towards the rear wheels to help out with the bass. My front stage are non-pro 7.1s and I'm using a BT4180 for the fairing/lids and a NVX bridged to power the 692's all under the fairing (w/ BT355s). All thanks to Tailwind for helping me out with this setup!

Here's a quick clip that might help you out with your setup...I would use headphones to get a better understanding of how they truly sound:
