I had a chance to chat with Sharp and maybe you guys can provide him some user feedback and help guide him with his purchased based on your real world reviews. On a budget I recommended the AD CX62 speakers and he could grab a Cerwin B52 off Amazon for fairly cheap. Nice crystal clear sound, not a ton of bass, but great SQ at a good price point. He asked what would be the next level up. On a coaxial the Arc Moto 602 flat out thumps with enough power. I recommended the JL 500/4 which is a price amp retailing at 359.00. A lot of guys have had success with the DD D4 that cost less but after use SgtMic had some challenges installing that amp in an RG I'd rather not have a guy who's not too familiar with installs get stuck. My personal thoughts are those Arc Moto 602 need a good 200w going to them and that a Cerwin B52 or a Micro4 would not provide sufficient power. The AD's are a better match for those amps.

I think your comments would help guide his purchase.

I am still running my BT2180 amp, haven't replaced it with the soundstream yet (its on the bench though). I replaced the titan IIs with the Arc Moto 602s last weekend. I like the 602s better. Moved the Titan 2s to the lowers, haven't hooked them up yet. May end up getting another set of 602s to put in the lowers when I finally get around to hooking up the 4 channel soundstream.

Of all the speakers I've run so far (Polks, JBLs, Titan 2s, a few other that are totally forgettable but are in my stack of extra crap) the Arc moto 602s are the best sounding TO ME. I do have a set of the MMats that Haze recommended to me, but I don't think I'm going to mess with them. They will likely end up in my sons street glide.

I haven't ruled out the jl500 I have found it online for 323.00. Which isn't cheap for me, but I want something I'm going to be happy with. If I go with the arcs and this amp. What else will I need to finish the install

I'm running four CX62s and I'm a big fan. Theyre a really nice all around speaker. I have no experience with the 602 so I can't make a comparison but The CXs have served me very well.

that is the set up I'm running and it pounds at 90 with a full face on! I'd recommend reaching out to Karl at NoCageAudio for a plug and play setup using the Arc and Diamond amp and speakers, BT line levelers, and everything you need to plug it in. will only be about $100 over your budget but worth it and install is a snap!

All good, Karl is a good dude who's helped me tons.

Good luck with your install brother. You have lots of great options to choose from! Can't go wrong with any of them.

First off I wasn't aware that Bagger Audio Lab was a shop or reseller nor was I even paying attention to poster names.

The OP made a comment on the exact set up I have and I wanted to give him feedback on my experience with the equipment and a great resource for getting it at a good price and excellent service after the sale.

At the end of the day it's getting him what he wants not leading him on who to buy from!

Bagger Audio Lab, sorry if I stepped on any toes, wasn't my intent!

Just went back and re-read this thread, I totally missed your post Bagger Audio Lab and didn't see that you had reached out to him, again my apologies.
