Default New Sony HU and USBs

I have installed a Sony mex-m70bt in my new to me E Glide (05). The USB memory stick that I use on my other bike with a Kenwood HU has about 180 songs on it. The songs come from a mixture of CDs and Itunes. Some are Mp3, some are windows media files and some are Mpeg4. The Sony HU will not not recognize the Mpeg4s.

Is there something that I am doing wrong with the HU that is making it not recognize them. Also I have been trying to switch the files from Mpeg4 to Mp3 for the last two days but can not figure out how to do this.

Suggestions Please.

Download this free audio converter that will convert all your files to MP3. Nothing wrong with the HU except it doesn't recognize the MPEG files. Place your USB stick in the computer and open files. minimize the files until you're ready to convert. After you download the converter go to "add files" This will divert to your "removable disk" file or G file. Open the file and double click on the songs you want to add and hit convert. Works like a charm and all your songs will play on the Sony.
