Dumping the boom 2 and hate my dealer
OK, first off, I know the boom 2 stuff isn't great but it was so-so on my '16 CVO. I traded that off and bought a '14 SG with the 4.3 HU. I've purchased a CVO 6.5GT HU and installed it. Put the boom 2 speakers/amp in and took It to the dealership to flash. They first said they couldn't get it to read so they couldn't flash it. They eventually listened to me and I told them I had changed HU and they said they had to do a master reset and then the flash. They updated me to the newest version, 1.21.0.4. IT SOUNDS LIKE CRAP!
Page two.....I've decided to go a different route. Talking to Alex, I've decided to go with the DD AW6.5s and the 28 tweeters. Arc Audio 600.4 amp, BT355 LL. Here's my question....Do I need to go back to A dealer and have it flashed back to (zero) amps and 2 speakers? 4 speakers? Can I find an older version of the software download somewhere or is the new one OK? Right now I'm just installing the front speakers. Putting in a second pair later on.
Thanks in advance for any and all advise.

I'll hit you back on email but for posting purposes. If you are going to run biketronics line levelers you will need the stock flash for them to work. No clue what "flash" you currently have but if you have the 2amp 8speaker flash you could try the install with that flash and see how it sounds as that's the flash that gives you the flattest signal from the radio.
